A Global Experience Honoring Your World

鈥淎 Global Experience Honoring Your World鈥 is an annual event to showcase the work of students in the Scholars of Global Distinction Program and the WCC Honors Program. Its goal is to inspire participants to value international and community connections, solutions, and culture.

This event will take place from 6鈥8 p.m. on the first and second floors of the Wayne Learning Center (the building with the flag poles in front). It is free and open to the public.

Honors and Global Scholars are preparing immersive experiences, interactive and informational displays, research posters, presentations, and more related to one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

This year, over 80 students from the following courses will be presenting:

  • COM 120: Intro to Interpersonal Communication
  • BIO 110: Principles of Biology
  • BIO 112: General Biology
  • ECO 252: Principles of Macroeconomics
  • ENG 112: Writing and Research in the Disciplines
  • HON 191: Introduction to Research and Discovery
  • HUM 230: Leadership Development

A bilingual (English and Spanish) tour guide will be present.

All guests will receive聽a passport and earn stickers as they learn about the Sustainable Development Goals and the many global and local topics students have been investigating. Those who complete their聽passports will receive a souvenir聽prize!
