The Foundation of 黑料正能量鈥檚 Arts and Humanities Program presents 鈥淔aces of Poverty,” a lecture by Gene Nichol.
Nichol聽is the author of Faces of Poverty in North Carolina: Stories From Our Invisible Citizens. In this talk, he will explore the potent challenges of poverty in North Carolina concentrating on the lives and stories of those living with intense economic hardship in the Tar Heel State. He will also extensively examine poverty and economic segregation in Goldsboro where he interviewed scores of residents living in Wayne County鈥檚 poorest neighborhood.
