The Foundation of 黑料正能量’s Arts and Humanities fall lecture series begins with “Rocky: The Underdog Story Behind the Beloved Underdog Film.”
WCC English Instructor Deniz Tuck will share the underdog story of Rocky鈥檚 origination and production, discuss the film鈥檚 significance in New Hollywood cinema, and reflect on the film鈥檚 enduring ideas about the American Dream.
The event will be held Monday, Sept. 30, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 101 of the Walnut Building on the College’s campus.聽It is free and open to the public to attend.
