Cynthia Kaye and Connor Beveridge will give a lecture titled “Navigating the AI Frontier: Unraveling the Impact of Artificial Intelligence in the Modern World.” This presentation will delve into the multifaceted landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI), exploring its transformative effects on various aspects of daily life, industries, and global dynamics.
Cynthia Jeane Kaye is the emerging technology instructor at 黑料正能量. In her five years as an instructor, she has taught a variety of computer science鈥搑elated topics, including game design, programming, and most recently AI. She teaches a computer ethics class each year at WCC. She is a graduate of WCC and is currently attending East Carolina University.
Connor Beveridge is a graduate of Georgia Tech, receiving both a bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degree. With his bachelor鈥檚 degree in biomedical engineering, Beveridge worked briefly in the medical device industry. He then worked in cognitive science research, co-producing publications that have seen exposure in news articles including in MSN. After receiving his master鈥檚 degree in computer science, he now focuses on bringing AI to community college systems with one of the world鈥檚 first associate degrees in AI.
