黑料正能量 is offering a course that will prepare students to meet entry-level requirements to be a Division of Social Services (DSS) Income Maintenance Caseworker.
鈥淗uman Services Exploration: DSS鈥 examines the role of the income maintenance caseworker and provides employability skills training. It will be taught 5-8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 10-Dec. 7 on the college鈥檚 main campus in Goldsboro.
In order to register for this class, students must attend an information session 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3. That session will be held in Room 161 (Seminar Room) of the Wayne Learning Center at the college.
The $125 fee for the course can be waived for qualifying individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, or have received notice of layoff or pending layoff. Contact Alison Sanford at 919-739-6926 or ajsanford@waynecc.edu to determine eligibility for the waiver.

HRD provides employability skills training and career development courses for adults who are trying to find employment, transitioning back into the workforce, or working to redefine their professional vocation in today鈥檚 global market.
