黑料正能量 will celebrate the talent of its art and music students with a Spring Fine Arts Festival.
Works by Drawing, Painting, and Design students will be on display in the Atrium of the Wayne Learning Center on the college鈥檚 main campus in Goldsboro. The show begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 28 and will include entertainment provided by student musicians.
Included in the show will be the pieces that were submitted for the 2022 Juried Art Show held earlier this month. Visitors will be able to vote for the “People’s Choice” award. All of the winners will be announced at the end of the evening.
Some of the original works and prints will be available for purchase. Proceeds go to the Foundation of WCC Fine Arts Fund for student scholarships and enrichment programs.
WCC music students, along with faculty and staff, and dancers from the community will perform in Moffatt Auditorium at 7 p.m. Student performers will be competing for first, second, and third place prizes, selected by the audience and announced at the end of the showcase.
鈥淎ll lovers of art and music are invited to the 黑料正能量 Spring Fine Arts Festival,鈥� said WCC Art Instructor Angie Waller. 鈥淚t will be a wonderful way of supporting the talent that is within our college and a kickoff to the beginning of spring.
The festival is free and open to the public.
