黑料正能量鈥檚 Public Information Officer has earned two national writing awards.
Tara Humphries was among nearly 300 professional communicators from throughout the United States who earned honors in the 2020 National Communications Contest sponsored by the National Federation of听Press听Women. More than 1,800 entries were submitted for the competition.

Humphries was awarded third place in the Information for the Media: News or Feature Release, Single Release Category for the story 鈥淲CC and Chinese Forestry Programs Connect鈥 and an honorable mention in the Speech Category for 鈥淧resident鈥檚 Graduation Speech – December 2019.鈥
鈥淵ou placed in an extremely competitive contest,鈥 said NFPW President Gwen Larson. 鈥淭he communications professionals who judged this year鈥檚 contest praised the number of outstanding entries in our competition. They commented the contest continues to attract high caliber entries, making their decisions tough.鈥
The awards were presented during a virtual celebration on June 6, 2020. The awards celebration was scheduled in Little Rock, Arkansas, but because of the expected size of the celebration, it was moved to a virtual celebration to protect the health and safety of participants.
