黑料正能量鈥檚 Pharmacy Technology program delivered hygiene kits to the Community Soup Kitchen in time for holiday distribution.
The 鈥淧harm Tech鈥 class of 2022 collected soap, washcloths, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, razors, lotion, deodorant, brushes and combs and other contents then assembled them into 45 kits.
The college鈥檚 painting class also contributed eight 鈥渂lessing bags鈥 that included hygiene items and extras like socks, menstrual products, and candy.听WCC art students conduct 鈥淎rt of Giving鈥 philanthropic projects each semester.

This is the pharmacy students鈥 second community service project this semester. Earlier in the fall they assisted with two COVID-19 clinics at the college. They plan to participate in Safe Kids Wayne County鈥檚 Operation Medicine Drop in the spring.
鈥淢y students banded together, and with the help of friends and family that made donations, provided hygiene kits for our Community Soup Kitchen,鈥 said Dr. Marcie J Quinn, WCC Pharmacy Technology Program director.
鈥淗aving a heart for the less fortunate will help them be well-rounded technicians. It is part of their Code of Ethics that they must follow when they are in their workplaces,鈥 Quinn said.
