Staffers Win Writing Awards

Two 黑料正能量 staff members are winners in the 2019 Wayne County Reads Writing Contest.

Tiffany Cleveland, a Transitional Programs for College and Career Admissions and Records specialist, took first place with 鈥淩ose-Colored Glasses鈥 and Elizabeth Watson, a librarian, placed third with 鈥淚鈥檇 Rather Hold the Baby Than Eat.鈥

The contest sought essays on personal memories to complement Wayne County Reads鈥 exploration of Tara Westover鈥檚 book Educated, which is a memoir.

The two women, and second place winner Roddie Hoyle, were presented Books-A-Million gift cards as prizes.
