Tech for Seniors To Be Offered in April

黑料正能量 Workforce Continuing Education wants to help older adults become more tech savvy.

鈥淭echnology for Seniors鈥 will tackle Facebook and smartphones in four Saturday morning sessions for just $20.

The class will be taught 9 a.m.-noon on Saturdays, April 7-28. It will be held in Room 220 of the Magnolia Building on the college鈥檚 main campus in Goldsboro.

Students will learn how to set up a Facebook account, use Messenger, add friends, and upload documents; about safety and security with Facebook and online in general; and about Facebook groups.

In the smartphone portion of the class, students will learn how to download apps, use cloud storage, move files from phone to cloud storage or a card, and set up e-mail, as well as about safety and security for personal information.

Students may register and pay the class fees at the Workforce Continuing Education Division鈥檚 Customer Service Desk in the Walnut Building on the main campus.
