黑料正能量鈥檚 new Center for Industrial Technology and Engineering (CITE) was 鈥渢opped out鈥 with its final steel beam on Thursday, Nov. 16. WCC President Patty Pfeiffer helped Steel Tech workers place the beam in the building.

鈥淭oday is especially exciting because we have reached a major milestone in this construction project,鈥 said Pfeiffer. 鈥淐ITE will serve as a regional resource to meet the workforce needs of our current and future businesses and industries.鈥

The CITE building will house many of the College鈥檚 Applied Technologies programs, including HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Systems, Operations Management, and Machining.
CITE, which is just over 40,000 square-feet, will contain seven classrooms, six lab spaces, a machine shop, flexible use space for Workforce Continuing Education, and faculty offices.
The building is estimated to be completed and open for use by the fall 2024 semester.
