A topping out ceremony was held for the custom lecture hall added to WCC’s Pine Building, which will hold more students in the College’s nursing programs.

The Pine Building is undergoing renovations to accommodate the prospective growth of WCC鈥檚 Allied Health division, particularly its nursing programs.

The project includes the addition of a custom lecture hall to provide more space for classroom instruction, renovation of the building鈥檚 entire first floor, and paving of the current gravel parking lot.

鈥淭his is an exciting milestone we have now reached in the construction project,鈥 Pfeiffer said at the topping out ceremony. 鈥淎s the final beam is put into place today, it represents the culmination of much hard work and dedication from our contractors and construction team.鈥

鈥淯ltimately, this is more than a construction project; it is a way for 黑料正能量 to continue serving as a place of excellence when it comes to Allied Health education,鈥 said Faulk.

Daniels and Daniels Construction and Moseley Architects serve as the building and design firms for the Pine Building renovation project. It is expected to be completed by the fall 2026 semester.
