黑料正能量 has graduated its 14th class from the Truck Driver Training evening course.
Graduates of the program were tested through written and behind-the-wheel exams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to safely and successfully operate commercial vehicles. These individuals earned a Class A Commercial Driver鈥檚 License, DOT 380 certificate, and WCC Workforce Continuing Education certificate.

During the graduation ceremony, Martinez was recognized as having the class鈥檚 highest grade point average. WCC Truck Driver Training Instructor Christopher Cobb led the students in a truck driver pledge to value and prioritize the safety needed in the profession.
WCC President Patty Pfeiffer commended the graduates for their hard work and dedication. 鈥淎s you embark on this new chapter, remember that being a truck driver is more than a job; it鈥檚 a way of life. Your role is absolutely critical, and you hold the power to make a difference every time you hit the road,鈥� she said.
Hamilton offered reflections on behalf of his fellow graduates, expressing gratitude to all who supported them along the way. 鈥淭oday is not just about looking back; it鈥檚 also about looking forward with hope and excitement as we step out into the world,鈥� he said. 鈥淓very one of us has the power to change our lives, and also our families鈥� lives, forever.鈥�
WCC Vice President of Workforce Continuing Education Services and Community Engagement Renita Dawson encouraged graduates to take pride in their accomplishments. 鈥淵ou should know that everyone here is so excited for you and what the future holds for you,鈥� Dawson said. 鈥淚 can see the love and support that these individuals who are here in this audience have for you.鈥�
The College鈥檚 Truck Driver Training program was established in response to requests from local businesses and industries that need qualified drivers. Graduates of the program can expect to earn from $40,000 to $60,000 annually in their first year with an established company. Employment is available locally, regionally, and nationally in various industries, in governmental agencies, and by self-employment.
The program鈥檚 next course will run from Sept. 3鈥揇ec. 19. Classes will be held at the College from 6鈥�10 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and 7 a.m.鈥�4 p.m. on Saturdays.
