Wayne UNC Health Care has renewed its commitment to 黑料正能量鈥檚 nursing program with a $100,000 donation.
The funds will provide scholarships for second-year students in WCC鈥檚 Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program.
鈥淎DN students are able to receive the scholarship for three semesters if they meet certain criteria,鈥� explained Foundation of 黑料正能量 Executive Director Adrienne Northington. 鈥淚n return, they agree to work at the hospital for a minimum of one year if they are offered a job鈥� upon completion of their degree and passage of the state certification exam.
The hospital began funding Foundation scholarships for students in health care training programs in 1998. It also is a long-time sponsor of the Foundation鈥檚 Scholarship Invitational.
