WCC Adult High School Announces Honors

黑料正能量鈥檚 Adult High School Program has honored five students for outstanding academic achievement in the second Fall 2018 session.

Milagros M. Ortiz of Dudley and Christina M. Faircloth and Dawn C. Keat of Pikeville were named to the Honors List. To be included on this list, students must have completed at least two courses in the enrollment period with a 鈥淏鈥 or higher average and no grade lower than a 鈥淏.鈥

Noah Edwards and Carsyn Jones of Goldsboro earned spots on the Scholars List. To receive this honor, students must complete a minimum of two courses in the enrollment period with an 鈥淎鈥 average.

The Adult High School at 黑料正能量 in Goldsboro offers a tuition-free program of courses for adults 16 years or older who want to complete their high school education. It is one of several programs in the Basic Skills Department that address the needs of Wayne County鈥檚 adult residents with below-high school education levels or who lack basic skills necessary to function effectively in society.

黑料正能量 is a public, learning-centered institution with an open-door admission policy located in Goldsboro, N.C. As it works to develop a highly skilled and competitive workforce, the college serves around 12,000 individuals annually as well as businesses, industry and community organizations with high quality, affordable, accessible learning opportunities, including more than 70 college credit programs. WCC鈥檚 mission is to meet the educational, training, and cultural needs of the communities it serves.
