黑料正能量鈥檚 spring concert promises to transport patrons to New York with its 鈥淏roadway Revue.鈥

When the show starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 4, there won鈥檛 be introductions or announcements, explained Music Instructor Brad Collier. 鈥淲e are giving you the experience of being on Broadway! The lights will dim, the music will start and the performers will begin their first song and dance number.鈥

鈥淭he evening will be full of energy, excitement and great music!鈥 he said, promising that the songs, dances, and commentaries will be 鈥渆ntertaining, informative, and fun.鈥

Students and employees will perform 14 songs from as many musicals, ranging from Associate Vice President of Continuing Education Services Renita Allen Dawson鈥檚 solo on “Be the Lion” from The Whiz to the college chorus鈥 “Everything鈥檚 Coming Up Roses”from Gypsy.

Music Instructor Brad Collier gives Chorus Member Cassandra Merrill and Accompanist Tom Casey some last-minute pointers during practice for Thursday evening’s “Broadway Revue” concert. Merrill will sing “Send in the Clowns” from “A Little Night Music.”

The concert will be held in Moffatt Auditorium in the Wayne Learning Center. It and the student art exhibition in the Atrium of that building are free and open to the public.
