A 黑料正能量 chemistry instructor has been published in an international journal.
Dr. Brian Duffy co-authored 鈥淪afety in STEM Education Standards and Frameworks: A Comparative Content Analysis鈥� with collaborators from Pennsylvania State University, Texas State University, and Connetquot Central School District in Long Island, New York.
The work appeared as a 鈥淪afety Spotlight鈥� article in a special issue 鈥淚mplementing STEL [Standards for Technological and Engineering Literacy] of the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association鈥檚 鈥淭echnology and Engineering Teacher鈥� journal. It was published this month.
Duffy expressed surprise about publication but said that he hopes the article 鈥渟heds some much needed light on safety in STEM classrooms for K-12.鈥�
Duffy serves as chair of the National Science Teaching Association鈥檚 Safety Advisory Board.
