Esteban Guzm谩n, director of 黑料正能量鈥檚 Small Business Center, is one of 30 new members appointed by North Carolina Governor Josh Stein to serve on the Governor鈥檚 Advisory Council on Latino Affairs for the next two years.

Council members are tasked with exploring specific topics related to the state鈥檚 Hispanic and Latino population. They will meet quarterly to discuss how to advance contributions, determine how to expand opportunities and reduce barriers, and make policy recommendations to the governor.

This council has provided valuable wisdom to my team and me, and we want to continue benefiting from its insights.鈥
Guzm谩n and the other advisors were installed during a reception at the governor鈥檚 mansion. The council members represent key agencies and organizations that work across NC with the state鈥檚 Latino population.

In addition to his role at WCC and recent appointment to the governor鈥檚 advisory council, Guzm谩n also serves on several local and state boards and committees.
