Student Influencers


黑料正能量 is looking for talented, creative, and enthusiastic students to serve as WCC Student Influencers. As a Student Influencer, you鈥檒l help bring our campus to life through social media by creating engaging content that highlights student experiences, events, programs, and the WCC community.

You’ll work directly with the Office of Communications team, gaining real-world experience in content creation, marketing, and digital storytelling.

Essential Role Functions
As a WCC Student Influencer, you will:

  • Create compelling and visually engaging content (photography, videos, graphics, stories, reels) for WCC鈥檚 social media platforms.
  • Highlight student life, academic programs, events, opportunities, and achievements.
  • Assist in student takeovers, campaigns, and special projects to showcase unique student perspectives.
  • Engage with the WCC community through comments, DMs, and other interactive content.
  • Stay current with social media trends, challenges, and campus culture to keep content relevant and fresh.
  • Track basic engagement metrics and offer ideas for improving content based on feedback and reach.

Education & Experience Requirements
To apply, you should:

  • Be currently enrolled at WCC and in good academic standing.
  • Be passionate about social media and storytelling.
  • Have an interest in learning photography, videography, content editing, and/or scriptwriting.
  • Be dependable, collaborative, and open to feedback.
  • Be familiar with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Have basic editing skills using tools like Canva, or Adobe tools (or a willingness to learn).

Time Commitment

  • Roughly 8 hours a month.
  • Flexible hybrid schedule.
